I Turned Her Over My Knee

expertise for the Warrior def Cataclysm

Hello,

I continue my response to today Golradir (Warrior Special Weapons mostly on Eversong). He asked three questions about the stats for the Warrior def Catalysm because it's hard to lie between what is said and done! Here is the second answer.

expertise for war def Cataclysm

Here is his question:

Expertise: you advices (like many others) to reach the milestone of 26 and even to exceed it and you post a value < à 10, comme la plupart des "gros" tanks que j'ai pu inspecter... C'est pas que je sois benêt mais j'aimerai bien avoir quelques précisions à ce sujet... Comme hier, revenons aux bases pour bien comprendre.

specifics expertise

Score Expertise:

- 30.0 ExpertiseRating = +1 to the skill expertise (Like the Master, do not confuse the two.)

- Each item on the competence expertise reduces the chance for attacks to be dodged or parried by 0.25% each. So each point of expertise reduces the chances of attacks can be prevented by a total of 0.50% (up dodge what the target is zero: first hurdle expertise.)

- 120.1 So the expertise rating = -1% -1% dodge and parry attacks.
Until the first course of expertise is the expertise base twice as profitable (see point costs objects III) touch to a tank. However it does not work remotely or for spells. This is characteristic for CACS.

- A monster pve dodge front or back, as it does from the front bumper. A player dodging, blocking or firewall that front.

- The racial bonus offers three human expertise with the masses or swords (-0.75% -0.75% dodge and parry). This represents approximately 90.0 expertise rating.

- The dwarf racial bonus offers 5 expertise with the masses (-1.25% -1.25% dodge and parry). This represents approximately 150.0 expertise rating.

- The orc racial bonus offers 5 expertise with axes (-1.25% -1.25% dodge and parry). This bonus is about 150.0

expertise rating - Expertise acts on most of your spells, with the exception of provocation, demo shout, thunderclap.

- The "caps" expertise appear on the character sheet. It is found that there are 2 different caps only against an enemy level 88 (raid boss). The first is the removal of dodging. Once this hurdle crossed, points of additional expertise not reduce "only" chance to parry.

Well, you have the basics.

Now back to the question: Why

so little expertise?

The answer is the same as yesterday, but it was worth an article for the recap on what brings the expertise. At present, it must be sacrificed almost 8% of statistics avoidance (parry, dodge and mastery) to reach our cap hit to combine our expertise soft cap. That's a lot ^ ^ For now, our heals are not equipped, have not infinite mana.

A question arises, however:

soft cap or hard course to run?

The soft cap, because unlike the touch, it is doubly interesting. It allows you to mount the reduction of dodges and parries of the boss. In short, at the same cost, we win.

Should we alter the expertise of our stuff?

No, because proportionally, the expertise is rarely the highest stat on our pieces of stuff. So mastery intake will be lower than if you touch the other stat. Good tanking
