Newspapers Echo Gabon (1904), Colonial Way (1924), Link (1950) SMCs become the Voice of African realities, Resonances and voice of the AEF These papers have allowed a small Gabon number of read and speak French. Voice of the SMCs was a review of Gabon who appeared in Paris between 1948 and 1949. The existence Voice of SMCs and Resonances, sisters and rivals Presence Africaine. Both journals were modeled on African Presence, but did not know the same success that their model. They indicated, however, a gap: apparently, the people of Central and Equatorial Africa were being misrepresented in this magazine published by West Africans who knew nothing of other parts of the continent.
